1982-1992 Camaro 2" Drop Spindles retain factory dimensions, but include a 2" drop in spindle height. The Racecraft Inc. spindles feature CNC machined parts TIG welded in our fixtures. The spindles come in at 9.2 lbs per side, (these are true numbers not advertising hype!) which is over 7 lbs of weight savings compared to stock. These spindles include aluminum spacers to the factory strut flange. These are designed to work with an aftermarket rack & pinion (i.e. Pinto) and feature shorter steering arms to allow for maximum steering response and increased turning radius.
The spindles utilize C4, C5, LS1 factory brakes and any aftermarket brakes (Strange Engineering) that use a caliper bracket that bolts to the drilled and tapped dust cover holes on a factory spindle. These spindles include aluminum spacers for the factory strut flange.
